Hi, I’m Kay, the founder of Back to the Table Events!

This business was born from a deep desire to bring people back to the table. Free from distractions and fully present with one another. That desire came to life on my 30th birthday, when instead of going out, I hosted an intimate dinner in my home with close family and friends. Phones were put away, names were placed at each seat, florals filled the table, and we shared a plated meal together. It was simple, intentional, and deeply meaningful. I wanted everyone to feel seen, welcomed, and loved.

That evening reminded me of Jesus and His invitation to sit with Him, unhurried, personal, and full of love. Scripture says, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me” (Revelation 3:20). That image of dining together without distraction has continued to shape the heart behind everything I create.

About six years ago, I began working with Meraki Visual Designs, where I had the opportunity to plan and design large-scale events for corporations and nonprofits. From themed celebrations to immersive tablescapes, I discovered my love for designing intentional spaces and learned how powerful a thoughtfully designed table can be in bringing people together.

Today, my vision goes beyond planning weddings and events. It’s about focusing on one table at a time. Every gathering is an opportunity for connection, conversation, and memory making. I strive to create events that reflect that same invitation welcoming, warm, and filled with genuine connection spaces where you can be fully present and truly cherished.
